I promise I'm still alive!

I realize it's been 4 months since my last post and I'm ready to come back!

School has been keeping me way busy lately and have so much to tell you.

In the past 4 months this has happened:

Got a new car

My birthday

Started my second semester of Nursing school.

Completed clinical rotations in the Psychiatric Unit.

Shopped way too much.

Started clinicals at the Hospital (my first time ever).

Have watched too many movies (remember, I'm a sucker for movies.)

Went to Wendover and "played" on the quarter machines for my first time. 

Sorry guys, but Wendover, Utah has gotta be the getto-est place ever.

No offense to anybody that may live there.

And I'm sure a ton of more other things happened that aren't worth mentioning, since I can't even remember.

My friend found this Nursing infographic and I wanted to share it with all of you as well. :) You'll actually have to click here to view it since it doesn't fit on the post...


I had my first clinical on Tuesday and it was AWESOME! I loved it, minus the having to wake up at 0400!!! 


I started my Spring break on the wrong foot. I had another Pharmacology test and absolutely bombed it. I don't understand how because I studied for 10 hrs (no joke). But the test just didn't follow the study guide, and had a whole lot of extra stuff and meds that were never mentioned that we were supposed to know. I hate it when teachers do that.... I'm really bummed out and I'm just trying to think positive. 


Spring break really isn't much of a spring break because it's from Wednesday-Friday, but I only go to school Monday-Wednesday, so in reality I only had one day off. :(


I can't wait for this weekend. We're having a work party tomorrow. We only have to work half day and we get to party for the other half and still get paid for the whole day. Also, saturday evening I'm going dancing with my boyfriend, and I'm super excited. :)

A Little Bit Of Everything

Hard to believe it's Saturday already! 

I think I've been enjoying my Thanksgiving Break too much, and now I'm dreading Monday. 

I completely forgot to tell you, but remember that paper in English that I had initially failed? And how our professor gave us another chance to re-do it since pretty much the whole class failed? I did it again, fixed some things, and passed! Yippee! Now I have to work on my 7 page persuasive paper. Yuck! I hate English class...

Also, I got my TOEFL results back and guess what! I speak English. Hahaha!  I got pretty high scores in all 4 sections. Come Monday I'll take my scores to the Nursing Department so they have record of them.

I can't wait for December 17th 'cause that's when my Nursing Orientation will be, and then I can get all registered for classes!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to run and get me a spicy McChicken and fries from McDonald's. Totally unhealthy, I know.

Pretty

I'm lovin' my new look! To celebrate my acceptance into the Nursing Program, I decided that I was going to gift myself with a complete blog makeover.

Isn't cute?

I'm not very blog design savvy, so I decided to look into one of those awesome people that make your blog pretty and found the perfect person! Leah, over at Cutesie Blog Designs did it all for me. I was a little hesitant at first, 'cause I had no clue what to expect.  I've never done something like this before, but after I started working with her I felt so much better! She's so nice, and makes the process so easy to follow. And the best part - it's totally affordable and you come out with a beautiful blog! What a deal! Seriously.

I'm happy 'cause now my blog doesn't look hideous anymore.

It's perfect, and just the way I wanted it.  :)
